According to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints on the Clutch Scoops podcast, Vincent has interest from multiple teams on a minimum contract, while Adebayo has asked Miami to consider bringing him back.
Vincent remains available in free agency, and Miami could be one of the teams to watch.
“Gabe Vincent has a few teams interested in him right now on a minimum contract,” Siegel said. “I’ve heard that Bam Adebayo has asked the Heat to bring him back, so we’ll see what happens there, whether or not there’s a reunion between Gabe Vincent and the Heat.”
The connection is clear. Vincent spent several seasons in Miami and was part of the Heat team that reached the 2023 NBA Finals.
He also played alongside Adebayo during one of the most successful stretches of his career.

Vincent made name with Heat during 2023 Finals run
Vincent became one of Miami’s key rotation guards during the 2022-23 season and played a major role in the Heat’s surprise run from the play-in tournament to the NBA Finals.
During the 2023 playoffs, Vincent averaged 12.7 points, 3.5 assists, and 1.4 rebounds in 22 games while shooting 37.8% from the three-point range.
That postseason helped him land a three-year, $33 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers in the summer of 2023.
Vincent’s time with the Lakers was hampered by injuries and inconsistency, but his prior Miami production remains the strongest part of his free-agent case.

Vincent coming off quiet season with Lakers and Hawks
Vincent split the 2025-26 season between the Lakers and Atlanta Hawks.
Los Angeles traded him and a future second-round pick to Atlanta in February for Luke Kennard. At the time of the trade, Vincent had played 29 games for the Lakers, averaging 4.8 points and 1.3 assists.
Overall, Vincent averaged 4.4 points, 1.4 assists, and 1.0 rebounds in 53 games during the 2025-26 season.
Those numbers are far from his 2023 playoff form, but on a minimum contract, Vincent could still be viewed as a low-risk guard option.
