Dunedin school gets new principal

Dunedin Highland Middle School is getting a new principal.

Garyn Boyd, who has been leading Kings Highway Elementary, was transferred to the middle school effective Oct. 29. She replaces Brandon Glenn, who resigned from the district to become executive director of middle schools for the Pasco County district.

Boyd has worked for Pinellas schools since 1993, working as a classroom teacher for 11 years before becoming a school administrator.

Oldsmar woman named to Berea dean’s list

BEREA, Ky. — Mam-Mary SarrFox of Oldsmar has been named to the Spring 2025 Dean’s List at Berea College.

A student is named to the Dean’s List who achieves a GPA of 3.4 or higher while passing at least four total credits, which is equivalent to a course load of 16 semester hours.

Berea College, the first interracial and coeducational college in the South, focuses on learning, labor, and service. The college only admits academically promising students with limited financial resources, primarily from Kentucky and Appalachia, although students come from 46 states and 66 countries.
