FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — Three people were injured after a woman allegedly drove a vehicle into a crowd during a fight Wednesday night in Fort Pierce.
The Fort Pierce Police Department said its officers were called around 7:44 p.m. July 8 to the area of North 32nd Street and Avenue L after receiving reports of a large fight involving several people.
When officers arrived, investigators learned the confrontation had escalated when a woman allegedly got behind the wheel of a vehicle and drove into a group of people, striking three adults before leaving the area.
The victims were treated at the scene by St. Lucie County Fire Rescue. Police said all three suffered minor injuries and declined to be taken to a hospital.

Officers later located both the suspect, identified as Tioniea Hine, and the vehicle believed to be involved in the incident.

After reviewing witness statements, video evidence and other information gathered during the investigation, police arrested the 22-year-old woman. Hine faces three counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
