Florida Dream Center needs towel donations and volunteers

Since its founding in 2012, Florida Dream Center (FLDC) has worked with local organizations, government agencies, churches and schools to collaboratively increase impact within the areas of poverty, hunger, social economic equality, community revitalization and gainful employment.

Currently, FLDC is specifically in need of gently used or old bath and beach towels for its clients. Donations can be dropped off at 4017 56th Avenue N., St. Petersburg.

The organization also seeks volunteers for numerous tasks, including assisting with their mobile food bank and providing administrative support in its office.

Help is also needed for their Adopt-a-Block program, where teams go out into the community every Saturday morning to provide services to the homeless, home-bound, elderly, veterans, disabled and low-income individuals.

More information about volunteer opportunities can be found here.
