BULLOCK COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – A Union Springs man was killed and a woman was injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
ALEA said the crash happened about 9 a.m. on Alabama 110 near the 18-mile marker, about 12 miles west of Union Springs.
Terrance Avery, 49, was driving when his vehicle collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Lisa Vasickanin, 41, of Orlando, Florida. Avery was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Vasickanin was injured and taken to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
