PELHAM, Ga. (WALB) — Florida officials are investigating the death of a South Georgia man who was shot and killed while on vacation, according to the Mitchell County Coroner.

The coroner identified the victim as Lucas Daughtry, 23, of Pelham. Daughtry was shot and killed in Panama City, Florida over the weekend.
The coroner said a suspect has been taken into custody. The case is being investigated by Florida law enforcement.
