FORT PIERCE – Three people were slightly injured when a woman drove her car into a group during a fight among a number of people at North 32nd Street and Avenue L on July 8, according to a Fort Pierce Police incident report.
At about 7:44 p.m., officers responded to the address following reports of a fight, which escalated when a woman drove her car into the group, striking three adults before the woman fled the scene, according to the incident report.
St. Lucie County Fire-Rescue crews responded and treated the people who declined to go to the hospital.
Officers located the suspect, identified as Tioniea Hines, 22, and the involved vehicle a short time later, based on witness statements, videos and subsequent investigation.
Hines was taken to the St. Lucie County Jail where she remained as of July 11 on a $75,000 bond on three charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, according to the jail web site.
It is unclear as to what the fight was about or the number of people who were involved.
