JACKSONVILLE, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) — Jacksonville city officials are asking residents and business owners to help shape the city’s future as they begin work on a new comprehensive plan.

The plan will guide Jacksonville’s growth and development over the next 10 to 20 years, according to city officials.

Residents and business owners can provide feedback by completing an anonymous survey available on the city’s website, JacksonvilleIL.gov.

Officials say the survey will help identify community priorities and areas of focus as the city develops the long-term plan.

The deadline to complete the survey is the end of this month.
