We got up to 4 inches in spots. More on that in *** minute, but first, this just in heat advisory 11 until 7 all the way along the coast here in Palm Beach County from Jupiter Farms down into West Palm, Boynton, Boca, everybody encompassed in that translation. It will feel like above 105 for at least 2 hours this afternoon. So it’s *** discomfort, no, yes, but it’s also *** danger. So elevated heat risk today for heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Right now we’re in the 70s, familiar territory. It’s really humid, 81 in Boynton, that’s usually our hot station, basically Saharan dust is hanging around the Palm Beach area throughout today. We’re going to see more intermittently throughout this week, so the haze is not going anywhere either, so significant amounts of Saharan dust continuing to drape the area. We saw 4.1 inches of rainfall last night out near the airport. It looks like *** little bit further south near Lake Worth Beach, more than 2 inches of rainfall. Not much on first warning radar this morning. Most of it’s offshore, but we’ll see some late in the afternoon and mainly the evening hours for the Palm Beaches. It looks like really just the impact with the heat 93 to 95. We hit 94 yesterday, but more storm action again on the Treasure Coast later on this evening. More in *** bit.
