FORT PIERCE – Fort Pierce Police is investigating a shooting incident which happened on July 11 in the 2600 block of Avenue G, according to an incident report.
Officers responded to that address for reports of shots fired, with an unoccupied vehicle being struck, at about 3 a.m., July 11.
Preliminary investigation determined that multiple rounds were fired and officers recovered shell casings of various calibers from the scene.
Witnesses reported seeing three to four Black male suspects exit a white Toyota SUV, fire multiple rounds at a residence, and flee the area before officers arrived, according to the incident report.
No injuries were reported. There is no suspect information available at this time, and the investigation remains active.
