CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WINK) — The Cape Coral Police Department and Lee County Sheriff’s Office are on scene conducting an active investigation.
Law enforcement gathered near NE 19th Ave and Kismet Parkway at around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
The extent of the investigation remains unclear. WINK News reporter Bridget Bruchalski is on location, gathering information and providing updates as they become available.
Excavator crews are on the scene; however, it has yet to be determined what involvement they have in this investigation.
