Deviant Libation offers a time warp of a classic horror movie night next weekend.

The double feature, hosted by the one and only crypt keeper, Charlie Suor, includes both classic 1963 horror flicks “The Man with the X-ray Eyes” and “Dementia 13.”

“The Man with the X-ray Eyes” starts when Dr. James Xavier develops eyedrops that give him the ability to see in X-ray, only to bring complications for the doctor as his vision deteriorates.

“Dementia 13,” directed by Francis Ford Coppola, is a black-and-white slasher film that involves a woman covering up her husband’s death to secure inheritance from her in-laws. At their Irish estate, she’s met with an axe-wielding killer.

The free event will feature a fun-spirited bingo game during the two movies, with winners receiving free movie tickets supplied by Sun-Ray Cinema.

Vegan baker Zoe Addington and Grace Hagan will supply spooky-themed sweet treats and snacks. Horror fanatic Dorian Mars will sell horror-themed pins, zines and patches.

There is no cover for Deviant Libation’s Science Fiction Double Feature Horror Movie Night on Saturday, July 18 in Tampa.
