KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Broadway Brunch is back in Central Florida, but in a new zip code and entertainment district.

1. For 16 years, Hamburger Mary’s in Orlando was a popular restaurant and entertainment destination. After closing a few years ago due to a lack of foot traffic and altered city dynamics, it now has a brand-new home at Old Town in Kissimmee.

2. The new restaurant and entertainment space is pressed up against the Old Town marquee, replacing a shuttered traditional Shoney’s diner with a high-energy, flamboyant vibes.

3. Hamburger Mary’s is known for its boisterous drag queen shows. Lexi Long is one of the performers whom we caught up with before a Sunday Broadway Brunch. “We created such a community downtown,” he told us. “[It’s] a community that really stood behind us and who was there for us, no matter what we did or what show we did.”

4. The venue also hosts celebrity impersonation shows, bingo, and has regular family dining. The redesigned building holds nearly 250 guests, leaving plenty of room for large-group brunches and events.

5. Hamburger Mary’s is located at the Old Town entrance on 192 in Kissimmee at 5764 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy.
