FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — Several traffic signals are out in Fort Pierce following recent thunderstorms, according to the Fort Pierce Police Department.

Police said the outages are affecting the following areas:
The 4100 block west to the 5800 block of Okeechobee Road, near I-95Sunrise BoulevardOleander Boulevard
Officers are directing traffic at the affected intersections while utility crews work to restore power to the signals.
Drivers are urged to use extra caution and treat intersections with nonfunctioning traffic signals as four-way stops, proceeding only when it is safe to do so.
It was not immediately clear when the traffic signals would be restored.
