Kathleen ‘Kathy’ O’Malley
OBITUARY
Kathleen “Kathy” O’Malley passed away on July 3rd, 2026 in the Hospice Unit at Baptist South Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, after a recent illness, with family and friends at her bedside.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jean O’Malley from Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of Nanticoke High-school, Wilkes College, and Dickinson School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Henry & Ann Leyman and Thomas & Lillian O’Malley, as well as many aunts and uncles.
She is survived by two aunts, many cousins, and two Maine Coon cats whom she adored.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Jacksonville, Florida. A Mass remembering Kathleen will be held August 23rd, 2026, at 11:00 am, at St. Faustina Church in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania.
