TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A pedestrian was killed Wednesday morning after being hit by a car in southeast Tallahassee, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.
Police said the crash happened shortly after 7:50 a.m. near the intersection of Capital Circle Southeast and Midyette Road.
As a result, southbound traffic on Capital Circle SE is being detoured onto Old St. Augustine Road as officers investigate the crash.
Police urged drivers to avoid the area.
