The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said multiple people were detained and taken to the Police Memorial Building downtown to be questioned following the incident.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man who was stabbed at a condo along Atlantic Boulevard early Wednesday.
Sgt. Kyle Matthews said patrol officers responded to Colonial Point Condominiums, located at 5201 Atlantic Blvd., around 2 a.m. in reference to a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, Matthews said officers found a man suffering from at least one stab wound. He was then taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Matthews said multiple people were detained and taken to the Police Memorial Building downtown to be questioned.
“We’re still working to determine the actual relationship between the deceased and the other individuals,” Matthews said.
