OpenTable, the restaurant reservation platform, has declared the top 100 hotel eateries in America for 2026. Among them: a pair of Tampa Bay spots.
Elliott Aster inside St. Petersburg’s Vinoy Resort & Golf Club and Lilac at the Tampa Edition landed on the list.
They join hotel restaurants in 20 states — Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Texas — plus Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.

It’s the No. 6 restaurant on Tampa Bay Times senior food and dining critic Helen Freund’s list of the top 50 places to eat in Tampa Bay and a recipient of the Michelin Guide’s “recommended” designation.
Across the Howard Frankland, Lilac received a coveted one-star rating from Michelin in 2023, 2024 and 2025 for its modern Mediterranean cuisine and earned the guide’s recommended status this year.
The restaurant has been recognized by OpenTable before, claiming a spot on the platform’s 2023 roundup of America’s top 100 restaurants.
Data from OpenTable shows that hotel restaurant dining among travelers this year is up 13% year-over-year and up 7% across all diners, according to a news release.
The platform’s list of the top 100 hotel restaurants is based on more than 10,000,000 reviews by OpenTable diners and dining metrics from May 2025 to April 2026, the release said. OpenTable used data points like diner ratings and the percentage of five-star reviews to evaluate eateries.
Florida has the most restaurants in the guide for hotel dining, with 18 across the state making the cut.
