TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Rain showers are few and far between today, especially in comparison to the last few days.
There are a few good downpours in south Georgia that will slowly drift south through the evening. If you have outdoor plans today, most of you will not run into rain. Temperatures in the low 90s and upper 80s. Any rain should diminish by 10 p.m.
We will start our Thursday mild in the mid-70s and partly cloudy to mostly clear. A mix of sun and clouds by the afternoon. Highs reach the mid to upper 90s. Like today, showers will be hit or miss, with most of the area not seeing rain.
Showers and storms become more likely this weekend as low pressure forms off the Florida peninsula. This will lead to higher coverage of mainly afternoon showers and storms, but will NOT lead to a washout of a weekend. Highs in the low 90s.
