RUSKIN, Fla. — Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister posted to Facebook on Thursday that two deputies have been shot in Ruskin.
It happened on West Point Road near U.S. 41.
The deputies have been medevaced to Tampa General Hospital, the sheriff’s office said.
The office also said that a suspect was shot and is being taken to a hospital.
Chronister said there is not threat to public safety.
