Deputies are searching for the suspect in a stabbing that left one man injured Wednesday morning in Westchester.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the area of Southwest 83rd Avenue and Southwest 42nd Street after receiving a report of a stabbing.
According to the preliminary investigation, two men were involved in a verbal dispute that escalated. One of the men pulled out a knife and stabbed the other, deputies said.
The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Authorities said the suspect fled the scene. No description of the subject has been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
