WATERLOO, S.C. (WSPA) – The Laurens County Coroner’s Office said a man was found dead after drowning at his second home on Lake Greenwood.
At approximately 11:30 a.m. Thursday, officials were notified of a death that occurred at a home in Waterloo following a possible drowning in Lake Greenwood.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as 81-year-old Glenn Cameron of Hawthorne, Florida. Officials said Cameron has a second home on Lake Greenwood in Waterloo.
An autopsy was performed Friday morning. The cause of death was determined to be drowning, and the manner was ruled an accident.
The incident remains under investigation by the Laurens County Coroner’s Office.
