TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A few showers and thunderstorms this, some of these storms will bring gusty winds and heavy rain as they move from east to west through the evening.
Tomorrow’s focus will be the area of low pressure that is trying to organize into a tropical system. The chances of this are low, but it looks possible in the next 24 to 36 hours. Still too much uncertainty with direction and intensity. But what we can tell you, rain and storm coverage will be higher than just typical afternoon pop-ups, and some stronger storms are not out of the question, with gusty winds possible this weekend.
Tomorrow, we will have a better picture of what this thing is going to do.
Rain chances stay relatively high into next week since tropical moisture is not going anywhere. Afternoon highs in the low 90s, morning lows in the 70s.
