The Humane Society of Broward is seeking a “furever” home for Willby and other furry friends.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Wilby is hoping to find a family to call his own after arriving at the Humane Society of Broward County as a transfer from another shelter.

“He’s an absolute sweetheart,” said HSBC’s Matthew Seligman. “We think he’s a Labrador mix, but based on some of the facial features, he could have a little bit of everything. He’s just cute.”

Seligman says Wilby would do best with a family ready to continue his training. Because he’s energetic and eager to learn, a harness can help give his new owners more control during walks. The good news: Wilby is highly motivated by treats.

He says Wilby is neutered and ready for adoption.

Seligman also reminded potential pet owners that bringing home a new animal is a commitment and a lifestyle change.

Anyone interested in meeting him can visit the Humane Society of Broward County’s website, where available animals are updated regularly, or stop by the shelter during adoption hours.
