TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Thousands of people are expected to gather at Tom Brown Park Saturday for the inaugural Together Festival, a community event aimed at connecting residents with local businesses and resources.
The festival featured 70 vendors, including food trucks, craft vendors, wellness businesses and a kids’ zone.

Organizer Shawntavia Fletcher said the event was created to bring the community together while helping small businesses reach more people.
“It’s so much that Tallahassee has to offer, and there are a lot of different businesses that people don’t know about,” Fletcher said. “It’s to get people out to see what’s available as far as resources and businesses and just to fellowship, communicate and be one.”
Following the event’s debut, Fletcher said she hopes to host three festivals each year, with plans already underway for Halloween- and Christmas-themed events later this year.
