Invest 91L was better organized with increasing storms off the coast of Florida and forecasters are advising July 19 that coastal areas along the northern Gulf coast keep a close eye on this system.
The National Hurricane Center said Invest 91L will likely become a tropical depression Sunday and has an 80% chance of developing in to a named storm in over the warm Gulf waters in the next 48 hours.
Northern Gulf coast communities are cautioned by NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, to watch this storm system closely and be prepared.

What is an invest? Is Invest 91L a tropical storm?
The invest has a low chance of development over the next two days, as it moves slowly to the north and northwest.
The term “invest” is used every hurricane season and is short for investigation. It is accompanied by a number from 90 to 99, accompanied by “L.”
