Temporary and Modular Structures

The issue: The F1 Miami Grand Prix has to raise its reputationally strong premium game each year, while operating within the realities and confines of a multisport hosting facility.
Gist of the structure: The 32,000-square-foot Super Yacht was assembled at Hard Rock Stadium in three weeks from more than 100 modular cubes, ultimately measuring 264 feet long by 96 feet wide and more than 50 feet tall. The project, Infinite Structures’ largest to date, required more than 45 trailers, two cranes and a 30-person field crew.
The cubes sat on an engineered truss base and created multiple elevated decks, VIP hospitality spaces — including private cabanas — and a two-story atrium. A total of 400 premium seats offered elevated views of the race course at the May 1-3 event, with full-service bars scattered throughout the venue.
The Super Yacht contained a full commercial kitchen, as well as 16 full-service unisex restrooms.
Noteworthy: The Super Yacht included four swimming pools.
