(Orlando, FL) – Newly released police body cam video is going viral of a University of Central Florida student’s violent reaction to being misgendered.
The blue-haired transgender student, identified as 27-year-old Jarrett Vick, can be seen screaming at a police officer who was on the UCF campus for an unrelated call.
Vick was eventually taken into custody after being pepper sprayed, and cuffed.
Vick pleaded not guilty to battery on law enforcement, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct, according to court records.
The bizarre arrest took place last winter and the case is now closed according to Orange County records.
