Investigation underway for possible fatal hit-and-run in Fort Lauderdale, police say – NBC 6 South Florida

An investigation is underway in Fort Lauderdale on Monday for a possible fatal hit-and-run, police said.

Fort Lauderdale Police said they received a call around 8:15 a.m. that a body was found close to the roadway in the 2600 block of West Commercial Boulevard.

Police said that the incident appeared to be a hit-and-run that involved a vehicle and a bike.

The deceased’s identity was not released.

No arrests have been made.
