PORT ST. LUCIE – Police are investigating a shooting that happened at about 2:30 a.m., Nov. 4 in the parking lot of Harper’s Pub at the Morningside Shoppes in the 1700 block of Southeast Port St. Lucie Boulevard.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a disturbance occurred in the parking lot after the pub closed, according to police reports.

During the disturbance, an adult male involved in the disturbance brandished a handgun and fired four shots, but no one was hit, according to police reports. Three men and a woman, all believed to have been patrons at the pub, were detained for questioning. A handgun and 4 shell casings were recovered at the scene, police said.

There is no threat to the public and police are not seeking any suspects, police said.
