Cox Media Group bilingual adult contemporary “Hits 96.5” WOEX Orlando has found its new weekday morning host, with longtime Spanish/English air personality Jessica Reyes’ debut on the station today (July 20).

Reyes has hosted on other Orlando stations, including Norsan Group Spanish Tropical “Kaliente 103.1” WFYY, former Spanish Tropical “Mega 98.1” WNUE, and former CHR “101.9 Amp Radio” WQMP. She also has an ongoing presence in the market as on-air spokesperson for Toyota of Orlando since 2017.

Reyes is currently heard middays on Fort Myers Broadcasting AC WINK-FM and nights on Spanish AC “97.7 Latino” WTLQ Fort Myers, FL, as well as middays at VP Broadcasting Spanish CHR “La Mega 101.7 FM” WTKZ (1320 AM and W269DY FM translator) Allentown, PA.

“We’re proud to welcome Jessica Reyes to the Hits 96.5 team,” Director of Programming and Branding Raymond Hernandez says. “As a true product of the Orlando community, Jessica brings an authentic connection to the audience we serve every day. Her passion, experience, and local roots make her an outstanding addition to our team, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.”

Reyes adds, “I’m so excited to join Cox Media Group Orlando and the Hits 96.5 team. This community is home, and this station feels like it was made for people like me. Growing up between Jersey, Philly and Puerto Rico, music in English and conversations in Spanish were just a part of everyday life. I can’t wait to spend my mornings with Central Florida, Cafecito in hand, sharing great music, laughs and positive vibes.”

Reyes takes over for Epi Colon, who has hosted mornings on Hits 96.5 since its 2024 relaunch, having hosted prior to the switch since 2020 on the former hot AC “Exitos 96.5.”
