Video shows superyacht crash into dock along New River in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A witness recorded a video showing a superyacht crashing and causing property damage on Monday at a docking area in Fort Lauderdale.

Michael Mobile, better known as Mobile Mike, shared the video showing “The Determination” motor superyacht along the New River in the Riverwalk neighborhood.

“A yacht was being towed down the river at an incredibly high speed,” Mobile wrote, according to a post on X. “Right away, I knew something didn’t seem right, so I pulled out my camera.”

Mobile reported police officers and fire rescue personnel responded after the crash. His video shows a small boat marked as owned by Steel Towing.
