Today, the Orlando Pride have announced that assistant coach Giles Barnes will be departing to club to become the new head coach of Al Qadsiah FC of the Saudi Women’s Premier League.
Barnes originally joined the club in 2022 alongside Seb Hines for the final 15 games. His interim basis was made permanent ahead of the 2023 season. The coaching staff has brought Orlando into excellence.
He helped lead the Pride to the 2024 double: championship and shield. The team also qualified for playoffs in the 2025 season.
