Man accused of DUI after crash into tree in Cape Coral

A man was accused of DUI after he reportedly crashed into a tree near the Cape Coral police headquarters on Tuesday.

According to the Cape Coral Police Department, Kevin Scott Tresenriter, 56, was arrested on DUI charges after it investigated a crash involving a vehicle and a tree.

The crash happened on Nicholas Parkway East.

Tresenriter is facing charges of DUI of alcohol or drugs, DUI resulting in property damage or injury and driving with a suspended, revoked or equivalent status license, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office’s booking website. He was booked at the Lee County Jail.
