TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Tampa man is on trial for a 2023 murder case involving a threesome that went violently wrong, prosecutors said.

According to authorities, Dewayne Gallishaw and his boyfriend at the time invited a man over to their apartment on March Harbor Place for a sexual encounter on April 19, 2023.

The State Attorney’s Office for the 13th Judicial Circuit said that while the two other men were together, Gallishaw went into a bedroom, grabbed a gun, and pointed it at his boyfriend before shooting the other man in the head.

Gallishaw’s boyfriend then ran and locked himself in the bedroom to call 911.
