TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – Accidently locking your car with you child inside is a parent’s nightmare. But for one Tampa mom, help was just a call away.
The Tampa Police Department recently posted a video on social media of officers coming to the rescue after a mom accidentally locked her keys and phone inside her vehicle.
“She called 911 right away, stayed with her child, and officers safely reunited them within minutes,” the social media post said.
Police say if this ever happens to you:
Call 911 immediately.Stay with your child.Create shade if possible and watch for signs of heat-related illness.
A quick call and a calm response can make all the difference, police said.
