An investigation is underway in West Little River on Wednesday after a driver died in a crash, deputies said.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, deputies, at around 5:30 a.m., responded to a call about a crash in the area of Northwest 103rd Street and 17th Avenue.
Once deputies arrived, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue extinguished a fire that broke out on the vehicle.
Deputies then found one vehicle damaged and pronounced the driver dead on the scene.
The driver’s identity has not been released.
