The St. Pete Police Department has identified both men seen on surveillance video vandalizing a luxury condo building downtown earlier this month.

Andrew O’Neill, 34, and James Boyle, 38, allegedly tore up landscaping lights and broke three large windows at the Residences at 400 Central, causing a total of $96,000 in damages on July 11.

They are both charged with with felony criminal mischief involving damages over $1,000.

O’Neill was arrested on July 18, just days after the St. Petersburg police asked for the public’s help finding them. A witness identified O’Neill from the surveillance footage, according to his arrest affidavit.

O’Neill was filmed kicking and throwing 14 landscaping lights, which have replacement costs estimated at about $1,500.

Investigators said O’Neill was accompanied by Boyle, who allegedly damaged three windows valued at approximately $25,000 each.

Police say the men turned themselves in to the Pinellas County Jail.
