LEE COUNTY, Fla. (WINK) — The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an active death investigation regarding a child who was found dead inside a hot car.
On Tuesday at around 5 p.m., law enforcement responded to a report involving a deceased child in a hot car located on 7806 College Parkway.
According to deputies, the child was a 17-month-old female.
This investigation remains ongoing while deputies work with their partners at the State Attorney’s Office.
