Halloween Horror Nights 2026 drops new scare zone, ‘Fortnitemares’
ORLANDO, Fla. —
Universal Studios has announced a new scare zone inspired by Fortnite at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.
“Fortnitemares” will be based on the popular video game Fortnite.
“Halloween Horror Nights fans will have the chance to “drop in” to the world of Fortnitemares, with an all-new scare zone, featuring ever-evolving and high-stakes environments,” Universal said.
Throughout the scare zone, there will be a Halloween-inspired battleground.
Universal also added, “Throughout the scare zone, fans will encounter the Battle Bus along with familiar Fortnitemares characters – plus a few new additions exclusive to Halloween Horror Nights – as they work to escape and claim victory.”

Universal Studios also announced that guests can now buy the Halloween Horror Nights Fear Pass.
Guests can choose from several multi-night passes:

Each pass gives you access to the event on select nights, so you can experience the haunted houses and thrills multiple times.
Guests can also purchase the Scream Early add-on ticket, which lets you enter Universal Studios Florida as early as 2 p.m. and gives you early access to certain haunted houses before the event officially begins.
Halloween Horror Nights runs select nights at Universal Orlando Resort, beginning Friday, August 28, through Sunday, November 1.
