Art and nature collide every month in St. Pete, thanks to the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA St. Pete) and Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center, (TBWDC).
The collaborative guided tours connect nature-themed artwork and sea-guided tours, displaying the influence the natural world has over artists’ creativity.
For the rest of 2026, on the last Sunday of each month, MFA starts the afternoon tour inside the museum, letting viewers explore world-renowned artworks, from ancient sculptures to beautiful landscapes, exhibiting its ties to nature.
The family-friendly tour then crosses Bayshore Drive, and lands at St. Pete Pier’s Gate 23 for a sunset cruise with TBWDC expert marine scientists. Viewers will gaze at the sunset over the downtown skyline, watch wildlife, and even see a local bird sanctuary. The tour also includes art materials so visitors can create their own art inspired by the tour.
Tickets for MFA St. Pete and Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center’s Art and Nature Sunset Tours, happening every Sunday, are still available and start at $45.
