“I think it’s been 14 years, this is the most outstanding results that we have ever received,” said Marsha Powers, a member of the Martin County School Board. “Kudos to you, kudos to your staff and the team and the teachers and the students and the parents who all pour into students so they can be successful, so thank you.”

Maine has served as superintendent since 2023. Under his leadership, the district has received an “A” grade from the state for the past two school years.
