Gunshot victim found in bathroom of St. Pete YMCA: police

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Police are investigating after responding to a reported shooting at the Child’s Park YMCA in St. Pete.

According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, officers received a call at 2:09 p.m. regarding a shooting at 691 43rd St S.

Officers arrived and found a young man in the bathroom with a gunshot wound.

A short time after the victim was taken to the hospital, police said a second young man arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Police did not have an update on the victim’s current condition Wednesday afternoon.
