While on patrol, officers assisted a disabled vehicle at the 70 block of Crandon Blvd. The vehicle was able to start, and the driver departed the area.
KBPD units assisted Miami Police and Fire with a cyclist that had fallen at William Powell Bridge. Miami Fire treated the cyclist on scene.
Units conducted a traffic stop at the 200 block of Crandon Blvd. for an improper left turn. Officers contacted the driver and issued a citation.
The complainant contacted police and advised that while they were a guest at the Ritz Carlton, they left their MacBook Air laptop in the 9th floor Club Lounge. The hotel confirmed the complainant was a guest and the laptop had not been turned in. A report was requested and completed. KB-26-0673.

July 16, 2026
While on patrol, officers completed a traffic stop at Crandon Blvd. & W. Wood Dr. Officers learned the vehicle was not registered and the tag attached to the vehicle did not match. Officers issued a citation and seized the tag. KB-26-0674.
While on patrol, officers observed a suspicious male riding a pink bicycle at the 500 block of Crandon Blvd. Officers observed the male enter and exit various shopping centers with no open businesses. Upon observing the officers, the male abruptly turned away. Officers located the male on the third floor of 580 Crandon Blvd. trespassing. The male was read his Miranda rights. The male told police they had taken the unsecured bicycle from the community center bicycle rack. The male made several conflicting statements and was taken into custody for loitering and prowling. The bike was placed into evidence to confirm the owner. A search incident to arrest revealed a suspected crack cocaine pipe. The male was transported to TGK Jail for booking. KB-26-0675.
Units were dispatched to a residential alarm at the 200 block of Crandon Blvd. Officers contacted the homeowner and learned they were having issues with an alarm sensor. All appeared okay and the alarm company was contacted.

Police completed a traffic stop of a motorcycle at the 70 block of Crandon Blvd. for a speeding violation. Officers contacted the operator and issued a citation.
KBPD officers were contacted from the 400 block of Crandon Blvd. regarding a found ID card. The card was placed into evidence at KBPD. KB-26-0677.
Units were dispatched to a residential alarm at the 400 block of Woodcrest Rd. Officers contacted the homeowner, who told police it was set off by the housekeeper.
