ORLANDO, Fla. — PepsiCo Foods U.S. announced on Wednesday the shutdown of manufacturing and warehouse operations at the Orlando Frito-Lay plant.

A Florida warn notice shows the jobs of all 500 employees at the plant will be terminated on May 9, 2026.

The plant, located along Park Oaks Avenue near Mercy Drive, manufactures potato chips, Doritos and Tostitos.

The company said in a statement that this was a “difficult decision” and that the action was driven by “business needs.”
