Cynthia Nixon is coming to St. Pete next year, and she could break a world record while she’s here!
The “Sex and the City” actress is teaming up with Winter Pride St. Pete to host Bride Pride — the World’s Largest All-Girl Wedding & Renewal Ceremony.
The event is scheduled for February 21, 2027. Couples can be legally married or renew their vows with Nixon as the officiant.
The first Bride Pride was held in 2016 in Provincetown, MA, when Ilene Mitnick and Alli Baldwin had the idea to renew their vows alongside other couples. If the February ceremony has 100 couples register, the event will break a world record.
“It’s big. It’s bold. It’s an unforgettable moment,” the event’s website reads.
Registration for the mass ceremony is open online now.
Winter Pride St. Pete runs from February 14-21.
