ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Tasha Moses, a 47-year-old mother of four, was shot and killed in a domestic incident Wednesday afternoon on 12th Street South in St. Petersburg, according to her older brother, Charles Musgrove.
Moses was a long-time sanitation worker for the City of St. Petersburg, and has a child with autism who cannot care for himself, says her brother.

“This was deliberately, deliberately premeditated murder. [She was] taken away. And who is anybody to think that they have a right to play God?” Musgrove said.
Moses was sitting in her work vehicle near her home around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, when an unnamed man climbed into her backhoe and shot her multiple times in the face. Authorities believe the homicide to be domestic in nature.
“All we know right now is that she was here, and there was some type of argument. The suspect, got into the cab of the front loader and shot her several times,” said St. Pete Police Chief Anthony Holloway.
The suspect then fled the scene, leading Florida Highway Patrol troopers on a chase that ended near the Alico Road exit of I-75 in Lee County, per FHP. Troopers used a PIT maneuver and then exchanged gunfire with the suspect before he was taken into custody.
“It was one, two, then it was a continuous stream, probably about say, 10 to 15 more shots… I heard the police getting on the PA system and telling him to get out of the car, telling him, ‘Look, this is not the end. This is not over. You can come out of this alive’,” said Michael Spaminato, who filmed the entire exchange from outside his apartment in Fort Myers.
The suspect has serious injuries and is being held in Lee County, according to FHP.
