After finishing with a 5-6 record during the 2025 season, Trinity Preparatory School enters the 2026 football campaign looking to build on last year for a new successful season.
Head Coach Brian Kells said he’s proud of the team this year. Even after a few tough games, Kells’ spirit is up when it comes to this next season.
“They’ve all learned how to win those tough games,” he said. “They’re excited to see what they can do this year.”
Kells said he knows they have a strong defensive team, especially when it comes to tacklers. He’s looking to build on that to keep defense up.
He also said senior wide receiver James Ellzey is a strong player they are counting on.
Kells said he’s looking to Ellzey “to make some big plays for us.”
Trinity Prep will play its first game against Central Florida Christian Academy on August 21st.
