TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The old saying goes, when one door closes, another one opens and in this case that’s good news for travelers at Tallahassee International Airport.
The elevator bringing people to and from the parking lot to the terminal entrance is once again up and running after more than two years out of service.
According to previous reporting, crews were working on the elevator in June and expected the elevator to b operational in the next month or so.

Several disability advocates expressed frustrations with the year-long closure earlier this year.
While an exact date for the elevator’s return to service isn’t yet known, a certificate says it was checked by a Florida State-certified elevator inspector on July 16th.
