The Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency is seeking a restaurant operator, a music and performing arts venue operator and a construction manager to advance redevelopment of historic McCollum Hall.
The CRA Board of Commissioners on July 22 authorized staff to issue nationwide solicitations for all three roles through the city’s OpenGov procurement system and other channels. Parker Mudgett Smith Architects is currently working with the CRA to restore McCollum Hall and design its restaurant, kitchen, arts hall and other spaces.
For the restaurant, the CRA is seeking an experienced hospitality group, chef, restaurateur or similar operator that aligns with the community’s vision for McCollum Hall and can serve as the site’s anchor tenant.
For the performing arts venue, the agency is looking for a cultural arts organization, performing arts manager, recording studio operator or similar entity to operate a flexible space that can host live theater, community gatherings, recording sessions and other programming.
The CRA is also seeking a construction management firm with experience overseeing complex restoration projects involving historic structures.
